Iran film 'Bomb' to compete at Turkish festival

Iran actor/director Peyman Maadi's 'Bomb a Love Story' has been scheduled to screen at 2018 Bogazici Film Festival in Turkey.

The film which firstly screened at 36th Fajr Film Festival will be shown at the International Feature Film Competition section of the festival.  

The film depicts romance in the war stricken Iran in the late 80s.

It is about Tehran, the Iranian capital which is being bombed and terror is spread among the civilians.

It shows how love and emotions, life and hope wash away the horrific image of the war.

Leila Hatami, who is known to ifilmers with her appearance in the series 'The British Briefcase', is among the cast members of the flick.

Bogazici Film Festival also known as the International Bosphorus Film Festival aims to provide a contribution to the development of ethics, aesthetics and technical cohesive movies.

The sixth edition of the festival is scheduled to start October 26, 2018.
